Hola, Hivers!
Deseo compartir con ustedes algunas fotos sobre la extraordinaria experiencia de una Asamblea pública a la que asistí.
El programa estaba diseñado para presentarse entre los días viernes, sábado y domingo (10, 11 y 12 de julio) y forma parte de una labor de educación bíblica que anualmente convoca a mas de 50.000 personas en toda Venezuela.
Este año 2026, el título de la Asamblea fue: "Felices para siempre".
Estuvo orientada a exponer cómo las enseñanzas de Jesús (especialmente el famoso Sermón del Monte), contiene preciosas lecciones que envuelven sabios y prácticos consejos para ayudar a cualquier persona a construir y mantener una felicidad auténtica a pesar de los graves problemas y decepciones del mundo actual.
A este evento tuve el gusto de asistir con mi novia y prometida @anne002 y otros buenos amigos con quienes disfrutamos aprender tantas valiosas y extraordinarias lecciones que, para ser honesto, en ningún otro lugar se pueden encontrar.
Y no me refiero a religiosidad ni fanatismo. Me refiero a lecciones prácticas y consejos útiles que ayudan a entender cómo conquistar la felicidad en el hogar, la familia, el trabajo y la sociedad en general.
Honestamente lamento mucho que más personas no hayan podido asistir y que muchos subestimen el valor de actividades abiertas y completamente gratuitas como éstas.
En lo personal, lo disfruté, y más porque no sólo se trata de asistir por asistir, o de un evento más, sino de encontrar respuestas a paradojas existenciales y herramientas para mantener la esperanza en un mundo en constante crisis.
Solo por poner algunos ejemplos:
El día viernes se presentó el discurso "Es realista la idea de ser felices para siempre?", donde se plantearon diversas objeciones comunes y también los correspondientes argumentos que demuestran la viabilidad de tan noble y deseable expectativa.
Ayer sábado, por su parte, el discurso "Cuatro enemigos de la felicidad" expuso como cosas aparentemente inofensivas y simples son el germen de una sociedad tan violenta y desorientada.
Por último, hoy domingo el discurso público "¿Ha encontrado el tesoro?" cerraba el ciclo de ponencias que hicieron de esta Asamblea una ocasión especial.
Lamentablemente hoy no pude asistir, pero podré verla en diferido así que no perdí por completo la oportunidad de disfrutarla.
Aun hay oportunidad de aprovechar y asistir a un encuentro como este en otros puntos del país.

I’d like to share with you some photos of the extraordinary experience of a public assembly I attended.
The program was scheduled to take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (July 10, 11, and 12) and is part of a Bible education initiative that brings together more than 50,000 people throughout Venezuela each year.
This year, 2026, the Assembly’s theme was: “Happily Ever After.”
It focused on explaining how Jesus’ teachings (especially the famous Sermon on the Mount) contain precious lessons filled with wise and practical advice to help anyone build and maintain authentic happiness despite the serious problems and disappointments of today’s world.
I had the pleasure of attending this event with my girlfriend and fiancée @anne002 and other good friends, with whom we enjoyed learning so many valuable and extraordinary lessons that, to be honest, cannot be found anywhere else.
And I’m not referring to religiosity or fanaticism. I’m referring to practical lessons and useful advice that help us understand how to achieve happiness at home, within the family, at work, and in society at large.
Honestly, I’m really sorry that more people weren’t able to attend and that many underestimate the value of open and completely free activities like these.
Personally, I enjoyed it—especially because it’s not just about attending for the sake of attending, or just another event, but about finding answers to existential paradoxes and tools to maintain hope in a world in constant crisis.
Just to give a few examples:
On Friday, the talk “Is the Idea of Living Happily Ever After Realistic?” was presented, in which various common objections were raised, along with corresponding arguments demonstrating the viability of such a noble and desirable expectation.
Yesterday, Saturday, the talk “Four Enemies of Happiness” explored how seemingly harmless and simple things are the seeds of such a violent and disoriented society.
Finally, today, Sunday, the public talk “Have You Found the Treasure?” closed out the series of presentations that made this Assembly a special occasion.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend today, but I’ll be able to watch the recording, so I didn’t completely miss out on the opportunity to enjoy it.
There’s still a chance to take advantage of and attend an event like this in other parts of the country.
