You could wait until when you really need a new TV and then make the purchase, especially this old one is still functional and you can use it to watch Netflix. I'm well familiar with this urge of upgrading to more recent items as a way to keep up with the trends despite the old items still good in terms of usage. But my practical self, wouldn't allow me to pull the trigger, it doesn't make much sense to fix what's not broken, so to speak.
