Phrases like "trust the science" and "follow the science" are religious terms. When governments give billions of our money to fund "science", they are funding a state religion. !COFFEE

Science, done properly, should generally be trusted. That means rigorous peer review...and also following the money. Much like statistics, science can be misrepresented to say what you want it to say.

Science, done properly should always be questioned, or else all evidences to the contrary will be suppressed. Put 10 scientists in a room, at least one should be questioning the conclusion of the other nine, otherwise it's not a peer review, it's peer pressure to conform to certain articles of faith, under the guise of the "scientific process".
