We dodged the bullets of humanity's societies. The war mongering bastards that took control. Fell prey to their own divisionary tactics. Hundreds of thousands of years in to the future. Ships head of in all degrees of directions.

How mong before harsh realities break dreams. Setting off for a new world. This is a journey that will take generations. Those starting out on the journey. Will never witness a sunset on the new.

The dreams we have have now ourselves are not the dreams our parents held. Travelling through the darkness of space. What do we use to bring about dreams in those who travel not by their choice. How do we give them the magic of youth? Would we keep alive the imagination of Santa?

Life in space might leave you with more to do than you think.

The ship you are on is heading to a newly formed solar system. New in universal time. New solar system and new planets and what you will build when you get there.

Let us assume for the duration of the journey, nothing of significance changed. The ethics from where your journey began have held steadfast. Travellers on the same ship all remained true and tutored their children with the same ethics.

Through 4 or more generations travelling through space, people changed. They grew taller, their skin tone changed. Eyes got bigger ears got smaller. Bone and muscle depletion due to reduced gravity.

The gravity on this new planet is even higher than Earth was. Setting on the planet was going to take another couple of generations. The effort to move around on the planet was too much for the new arrivals. Exo-skeletons would be needed for the first members of the ship to visit the planet.

How far will you go to make this planet a world for your people to live on.

Construction of a new world begins almost as soon as contact with land is made. Scouting groups for various needs, food water shelter and other life forms.

Food sources were scarce with the exception of fruits. Water was abundant. Shelter would need to be constructed. Life forms were everywhere, though not of intelligence.

Protective shelter would be needed to keep some of the predatory animals at bay. These borders would also be used to create farming protected areas.
