Hello fellow Hivers. How was your day, I hope it was good. Today I will be telling you how I love pastries over fruits which are healthier for me.
Before I started boarding in school,my parents never enjoyed any meal with us without fruits on the table ,they tried to teach us the importance of eating fruits as long as you are not medically advised to avoid fruits(i.e fruit -free vegetarians).
My parents know I love pastries so much, so from childhood they tried to stop it but their trial wasn't enough though as my best food today still remains fried rice with fried chicken and fried plantains.
I sometimes buy fruits from school but not as often as I visit the pastry stands. My last hospital report showed that I had a high cholesterol level which will affect my health soon and all I needed was juicy fruits like watermelon and pineapple.
I also love roasted meat too. I love eating them them in the night before I sleep or sometimes when I am reading I just chew to keep my mouth busy. But this meat is unhealthy to me because it is a fatty meat.
I know some of us will like fries too but may not love it as deeply as I do. I encourage some of us that like fries to reduce how we take fried foods because they have side effects.
