It is not only that I am sick, but the surroundings and the conditions in which one is forced to live here make me sicker. One gets sick and then drags the disease on for weeks and cannot get free, either because of poor hygiene due to lack of water, or because of the stress of just living in such a place. If all the factors and conditions come together in one general picture, this picture becomes very ugly, painted by some evil spirit who wants to harass people by putting them in these conditions, while at the same time people themselves are to blame for them and are used to them, no evil spirit put them there. In short - survival. So - I am alive and surviving. Like some survival TV show. But in the real life.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
