SPI is the flagship growth token for the SPinvest fund. Launched in June 2019. SPI tokens act as both a token of ownership and a governance token. Since launch, we've been able to 7x the HIVE value (including revaluations and token split) and 12x the dollar value of the fund.
We are now in our 5th year of operation and still going strong as we stick to our plan of investing the bulk of our holdings into time-served investments and HODL.

In our expansive portfolio, we are involved in over 30 investments, with a significant portion dedicated to HIVE, BTC, and ETH. We firmly believe in avoiding impulsive actions driven by the fear of missing out or chasing unattainable aspirations. Instead, we rely on tried and tested strategies that have proven to be the most effective and secure.
Our guiding principle is to accumulate wealth steadily, adhering to the philosophy of "Get rich slowly." We employ the power of compounding by consistently reinvesting in sound opportunities to amplify our returns over time.
When considering SPI tokens, it is essential to adopt a long-term perspective, aiming to hold them for a minimum of 3-5 years. Our rationale behind this recommendation lies in the belief that substantial returns require patience and allowing investments to mature organically. By committing to an extended investment horizon, you significantly increase the probability of maximizing your potential gains. This aligns perfectly with our overall investment philosophy and strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability in the long run.
Earnings this week are ok, nothing special. No big changes, we earned a little less from content, a tiny bit more from HP leasing and the rest is about the same.
Incomes are small, im aware but this is not my main focus at the minute. It's a long time off but from 2026 onwards, we'll be sorted with a good income for life. I kinda messed up this cycle thinking I would building us some nice HE tokens stacks that earn us passive HIVE but when I looked, there is not that much on offer and liquidity is poor for over $500. Lesson learned, next cycle we build non-HIVE assets or HBD that produce a yield and convert that yield into HIVE. As said, it's a long time off, 2 years but thats what im thinking.
We collected our HBD interest payment this week, it was 212 HBD which is amazing for free. This pays all our SPI team rewards and monthly DEV costs. You can see above HBD is much more HIVE this week as HIVE took a 1-cent dip. If HIVE drops low enough before the halving, we will convert this HBD balance into HIVE.
Our HP balance is still declining a few HP each week due to the set-up over at @eddie-earner but this will soon change, in a few months I mean not a few weeks.
Our HE wallet value is back up this week, last week a few our biggest holding were down 30-40%. INCOME was trading for under 8 HIVE and GMLSPA for under 3 so its nice to see them trading for higher amounts again and putting us back into over 20k profit. We should really wipe PUNKS and put these down as a loss.
The markets have been mostly sideways this week. Our biggest holding BTC is up 1.7% for the week so it's performed better than most and we've been lucky. You can see in the weighted table above, that our BTC is now worth 135k HIVE which is up 5k from last week. It could still be 6-12 months before we see this ratio get to over 200k but i still believe it will happen.
Our SP500 holding is still increasing in value and for holding it only 10 months, im really shocked at how well its performing. Maybe we bought a dip, i cant remember but whatever, we're up over 20%.
Everything else is either up or down a few percent with defi being mostly down. Understandable as it's the riskiest.
We finished the week good with 1.65% growth which brings us to 16.15% growth YTD. Total fund is worth over 430k HIVE which is our highest value for YTD so far. The last time SPI was worth over 430k was 1 year ago on the 8th Jan 2023.
In about of the rush this week and not sure how many people read this anyway. I think most people skim and get the information they need from the charts which is why we have lots of charts cause its easy to see how things are performing.
