Now let's wait for Conclave Arcana to unfold and chat about last season! It was one of the worst ones ever if I look at the Glint I earned, less than 20k in total. Lucky I had some leftovers from the previous one, and added two rare, one epic and one legendary card to my collection!
I had the Quilliun Legionary and Janni Rebel in my deck, but the Shock Trooper was a new-entry! This unit is a high-damage caster built for front-line impact, with strong attack stats and solid health! It's speed and raw power make it a go-to choice for aggressive lineups looking to break through enemy tanks fast, ideal for players who favour burst damage and straight-up brawls.
Shall we talk about wasting Glint on chests or about the Frigid Wolf? This frosty predator excels in countering flyers, stripping armour, and dodging incoming magic. A top pick for players who thrive in control-based strategies and love watching the enemy freeze under pressure.
Let's go back to Glint wasting on common chests, a strategy that wasn't productive over the last seasons. Why I keep trying? Because a player never quits, only changes the table! So... my gambling addiction moved from casinos and football bets to Splinterlands chests!
I bought twenty common chests, and this time the gods of random smiled! The gold foil Blackmoor Wild Elf and Commander Slade transformed the gamble into a winning experience! This time the return of the investment was 300% extra gains!
Let's talk about last season from a Wild perspective, then have a look at the Survival Mode progress! I stopped playing modern, focusing on advancing the tiers on Wild. Usually I reach Gold, but not last season! I struggled all the way and I settled with Silver!
People said Survival Mode is crazy but rewarding, so I pushed a bit more! Reached Bronze III but this leap-of-faith was not paid back. The Wild victory rate was heavily affected, and the Survival rewards were non-existent!
My Survival record will probably remain 58 matches, with a 25% win rate at peak! There's no point to sabotage my Glint rewards for a hustle that is set for whales and OGs!
Last season I've joined the WTF Event, having wild fun on Friday. It's not about the rewards... it's about flexing muscles and trying those cards that I will never have in my deck. The pleasure to use maxed out cards is insane!
Strategy is everything, as all players will be able to use the same cards. My leadership and knowledge was put to the test, and I raised victorious! It was blood, sweat and tears... and eight wins from ten games.
Let's talk about last season, when I finished 4th in the WTF event! From clashing swords and spells at max level to finishing on the top of the leaderboard! The glory matters more than the 15 DEC reward!
