I can't agree with you in case of decision. I feel if my wife is educated and if she wants to do a job I will agree with it as long as she remains happy. Moreover, I won't hesitate to work home with here in the kitchen for cooking and do other household work after completing the office.
Secondly, I know there are many bad men but you can't cage your wife for that reason. She must know how to protect her by her own as you can't protect her all the time.

the moment you mandate it for your wife to work, you already lost half of your respect and control over her.

I don't think wives are designed to be controlled.
