My name is Adedayo Lydia from the state of the living spring; a land flowing with milk and honey here in Nigeria. You can guess what state it is right?
I will not bore you with much details, I'll be specific. I promise
HOW I GOT TO HIVE
I learned about HIVE through a friend, @d-honeyb. She intimated me about the Blockchain and I got interested. She was my guide in navigating the Hive platform for the first time. She walked me through the basic things I needed to know about this fantastic platform. I can't help but admire her patience in teaching me.
I'm drawn to Hive's unique combination of community, innovation, and decentralization. I believe in the power of collaborative learning and progress, and I'm delighted to contribute to this vibrant environment.
Being a newcomer, I have read some posts but the post made by @crazyphantombr on stop being dust and become noticed stood out for me.
MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I grew up in an environment where it is believed that education is not for a female child because she will end up in marriage, but my parents instilled the necessary discipline in us and did everything they could. They were available financially and physically and supported with prayers in order to break the cycle.
Today, we have two graduates in our family. This inspired my watchword that no goal is impossible as long as you set your mind to it and put the necessary tools to work.
I studied Chemistry education at the University of Ibadan, but in an affiliated center in the Osun State College of Education, which is now the University of Ilesa.
I've been teaching for ten years now and I can say I love what I do. I enjoy seeing individuals become better versions of themselves, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
I can't wait to tell you this
I got a gift that I can call a reward for my years of dedication to touching the lives of young ones. One of my past students gifted me a brand new phone after I lost the former one to thieves.
Few of my hobbies
During leisure, I adore going through medical posts and listening to health related podcasts, perhaps due to the fact that I wanted studying Nursing at the beginning of my scholastic career which changed after pursuing it for four years, I settled for another that I'm passionate about - teaching.
I enjoy raising birds and animals; watching how they behave makes me laugh and appreciate nature.

I'd love to have a cocoa plantation.
I adore the look of lush flora 😊😊
I also enjoy establishing acquaintances, especially with folks making waves in their fields, since I want to learn from them. I am aware that this platform has several of them.
