Hospitals here have targets for Doctors and when they achieve these targets they get good incentives, so it's not surprising that they would do such things. Specially with vulnerable people like my mom, who is very old.

Now a days, its same every where, especially, all private hospitals have set targets for Doctors. That ethics that is being taught to them is useless and gone now. Unfortunately, there is no law to challenge that.
