Have you ever walked from one room to another for a purpose. Walked in to the room and wondered what you went there for?

Have you ever went to the shop for bread or milk, then came home with everything but?

Sometimes the logic is just beyond us. Silly distractions can take our minds away from the tasks at hand. How could you forget the task you just set yourself?

You, the planet, the universe decided the time to change planets had arrived. Have you got everything needed?

You just set off to start a new something in a new world. The excitement is hyper. Chatting with strangers and hearing their stories. The ship reaches the edge of the solar system. Everything changes. You just remembered you forgot something.

The future is not something we cannot control. In all efforts to try. With every effort made to ensure an outcome. Someone will be an obstruction. At some point someone will not like things and a campaign to change will begin. The chances are this will happen in the first generation. The initial generation that could seed new life on other planets.
That's all in the future though and not to worry for now. ?

We can put measures in place to ensure somethings have a smaller chance of happening.
With seed's efforts can be made to ensure they get stored correctly at the right temperature. Machinery maintained with oil grease or other lubricant will ensure less damage to moving parts. There are ways to ensure the things we need do not spoil as frequent.

Failsafe and back up systems employed across various types of need. Like additional storage of water and foods. Medical facilities and drugs. Even your recreation drugs of choice on board.

Still something is missed.

So what has been forgotten?

In my opinion, forgotten is the rules laws and how they will be enforced.

Not every ship setting off will have the same morals and ethics. You do not want to be a untrained person in a chaos and anarchy world. Though there is a good chance by the time you reach your other planet. Things might have decayed to that level.

Once outer space is reached. Who is there to hold the top guy accountable?

That's the same for the world you live in now and here on Hive. There is no accountability for actions taken. When something is not done. No one to call out, When anything big or small is done. The boast starts, I done this. If the code should only take 2 month to complete. Doing it in 6 months so you have half a year wage is stealing. Paying for the code before completion is the biggest joke here on the blockchain. But the way things are, well that works to the interest of who holds the power. (explained above, accountability.

The DAO/DHF is a joke. It is done in a manner that those with the HP can abuse the system freely. I think the DHF should be abandoned for a better system of support. As it is now. All proposal that receive funding from the DHF. That funding should go to an escrow account until a time that the task is complete. Should the coder take the piss. Someone else can complete the code and claim the reward.

So many good people doing nothing.
