Hola, hola, padres y madres que hacen vida en esta hermosa comunidad, deseo para todos un feliz año nuevo cargado de bendiciones, y que podamos estar con nuestro seres queridos, bajo la protección y dirección de Dios!
Quiero iniciar este nuevo año compartiendo con ustedes un a actividad realizada el pasado sábado, en la clase de escuela dominical de mi hijo menor; es una clase que reciben cada domingo en la mañana los niños que asisten a la iglesia con edades comprendidas entre 8-11 años, donde se les enseñan valores esenciales para la sana convivencia, historias biblicas, y, el amor hacia Dios y al prójimo, qué son los dos grandes mandamientos!
Además realizan actividades que refuerzan su aprendizaje escolar como lectura, escritura, exposiciones, elaboración de maquetas, y, muchas otras estrategias; pero para este fin de año, la maestra llamada Anabelys Muñoz, organizó un compartir de fin de año, donde además de compartir una rica cena navideña, se reforzó los valores de compañerismo y servicio a los demás que es importante fomentar en nuestros hijos!
El compañerismo, es esencial hoy, mas que nunca, donde cada vez se ven más casos de bullying, o acoso , en que algunos niños son rechazados por su estatura, color de piel, posicion social, condicion fisica, o muchas otras razones; por ello es importante inculcar a nuestros pequeños valores que van inmersos en el compañerismo, como la tolerancia y el respeto hacia los demás, que fomentar una sana relación.
También es importante fomentar en nuestros pequeños el servicio a los demás, que desde niño aprendan la cooperación tanto en las actividades del hogar como en actividades sociales y de grupo!

I want to start this new year by sharing with you an activity that took place last Saturday, in my youngest son's Sunday school class; it is a lesson that children between 8-11 years old who attend the church receive every Sunday morning, where they are taught essential values for healthy coexistence, biblical stories, and love for God and neighbor, which are the two great commandments!
They also perform activities that reinforce their school learning such as reading, writing, exhibitions, making models, and many other strategies, but for this year end, the teacher named Anabelys Muñoz, organized an end of year sharing, where in addition to sharing a delicious Christmas dinner, reinforced the values of fellowship and service to others that is important to encourage in our children!
Companionship is essential today, more than ever, where we see more and more cases of bullying, or harassment, in which some children are rejected because of their height, skin color, social position, physical condition, or many other reasons, so it is important to instill in our children values that are immersed in the companionship, such as tolerance and respect for others, to promote a healthy relationship.
It is also important to encourage in our children the service to others, that from childhood they learn cooperation both in household activities as well as in social and group activities!
En colaboración con los padres, se organizo el menu, que era: hallacas, ensalada, pan de jamon, refrescos, y, por supuesto la torta que era de chocolate, y estuvo deliciosa.
Cada niño debía asistir con su representante y, un amiguito; al llegar al lugar estaba decorado de forma sencilla pero hermosa, y acorde a la época de navidad, con globos rojos y verdes, y un letrero de feliz navidad, habia bancos en circulo, donde nos sentamos todos juntos; se le dio a los niños la oportunidad de decir unas palabras y expresar sus emociones; además la maestra hizo unos papelitos, donde estaban distribuidas unas actividades, cada niño agarró un papel, y lo que le salió, esa actividad debía realizar; por cierto, a mi hijo le tocó repartir la comida!
A otros les tocó servir la comida, recoger la mesa; pero la actividad debían realizarlo en conjunto con su representante.
A los niños se les pudo ver muy feliz y entusiasmados por realizar sus actividades, al servir la comida, oramos por los alimentos, y disfrutamos el delicioso plato. Al final, se partio la deliciosa torta, y termino la actividad!
In collaboration with the parents, we organized the menu, which was: hallacas, salad, ham bread, soft drinks, and of course the chocolate cake, which was delicious.
Each child had to attend with a representative and a friend; when we arrived at the place it was decorated in a simple but beautiful way, and according to the Christmas season, with red and green balloons, and a merry Christmas sign, there were benches in a circle, where we all sat together; the children were given the opportunity to say a few words and express their emotions; also the teacher made some papers, where some activities were distributed, each child grabbed a paper, and what came out, that activity had to perform; by the way, my son had to distribute the food!
Others had to serve the food, clear the table; but the activity had to be done together with their representative.
The children were very happy and enthusiastic about their activities, as we served the food, prayed for the food, and enjoyed the delicious dish. At the end, we broke the delicious cake, and the activity was over!
