RE: Poem- A Sister's Farewell

How beautiful the bride is and the dress is gorgeous @marriot5464. One can feel the thoughts of a devoted sister wishing her sibling well on her wedding day by being careful not to interrupt the festivities with tears. Although tears are expected by all on this day. As a sister, you understands the importance of this day. Shared memories can be reflected upon later. But that day is all about wishing the best of blessings upon the marriage and her future. I'm sure catching up later and sharing all the details when all is quiet will be joyous.

Thanks for sharing this lovely poem from a sibling's point of view on what she is feeling and witnessing as her sister takes on a life of her own, knowing it will change their relationship going forward. Nicely done.

Take care and have a good rest of your week.

I'm actually a guy. You must've mistaken my poem titled for you to address me as a girl. I'm not offended though.

I'm glad you understood where I was coming from with my poem. It was her day and I just didn't want to mess it up with my tears.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day too 😊

Well, I'm happy you weren't offended. Please accept my apologies. I had on my Profile that I was a mother and grandmother, and people still called me "dude".

Was the dress for your sister, though?

Yes it was.
