dCITY is a city simulator game based on Hive-Engine Non Fungible Tokens. The NFTs represent assets in the game. Each individual card a building, citizen, etc., and the total collection of your cards is your city. dCITY allow players to optimize their cities in terms of buildings, population, and income. The aim of the game is to buy new buildings, but also use diplomacy and tact with fellow players to achieve the materials you need to grow and prosper. Obviously, there are several ways you can approach this, but we’ll let you learn them on your own and test them out.

This is a numbers game, but with the added randomness of society. There will be events which can have either a positive or negative impact on your city, depending on how your city is built. Choose wisely when helping or refusing to help another player. They might need your help today, but you never know when you might need their help in the future.

Yeah, this is a calculation game which require many calculation in order to get everything worked well. There is some rewards as well from getting into the top 400 leaderboard or holding the SIM token.

Auction Feature on Dcity

Before Splinterlands implement the auction system, DCity already have it. Almost every day, 2 NFT are minted and are available on the auction (depend on the auction duration, sometimes it's more than a day). The NFT that are auctioned are random (as far as I know, please correct me If I'm Wrong). And players are given times to put their bid higher than other, until the times are up.

The Desire to Win Sometimes Ignores The Needs

If you can't beat people on the leaderboard, you can beat them on the auction, with higher price and on the right time. And since the price usually cheaper than the market (who want to bid higher than the market ?), I personally sometimes don't re-check the market and just put a higher bid, especially when the times is nearly end. And since there is no exact end time, there is some kind of adrenaline rush when you put the bid on the auction. This things happens few days ago, when I'm online and check the auction menu. I saw there is military industrial complex on the auction with the auction end times are 0 hours until some minutes ahead. Without searching about the NFT, I just put the higher bid than the current stand, and voile, I got one of them 😂

The stats are not that good in my opinion, war shares are the good things, but it reduce the popularity, and the income:workers ratio are quite low as well. The rarity is 1% which should considered as a hard to get cards, I don't know if there is another function rather than just written on the NFT description.

Update on My City and Rank Status

Here is my current city situation, I got 2 SIM income addition since my last update, and got 39 SIM income with tax refund.

I still stay on 272 Income leaderboard, with 39 SIM income. Look! my friend @dewabrata already leapfrog on 271 position with 39 SIM income as well.
For Population, I'm going up 10 position into 1319 position, and on popularity, I'm dropped 9 position into 964 position (thanks for that 10 popularity reduce by the military industrial complex 😅.

Next Step

If there is right time for doing auction, I will definitely join again 🤣 And of course I will keep watching the market to see if there is cheap card to increase my city's stats.
