dCITY is a city simulator game based on Hive-Engine Non Fungible Tokens. The NFTs represent assets in the game. Each individual card a building, citizen, etc., and the total collection of your cards is your city. dCITY allow players to optimize their cities in terms of buildings, population, and income. The aim of the game is to buy new buildings, but also use diplomacy and tact with fellow players to achieve the materials you need to grow and prosper. Obviously, there are several ways you can approach this, but we’ll let you learn them on your own and test them out.

This is a numbers game, but with the added randomness of society. There will be events which can have either a positive or negative impact on your city, depending on how your city is built. Choose wisely when helping or refusing to help another player. They might need your help today, but you never know when you might need their help in the future.

Yeah, this is a calculation game which require many calculation in order to get everything worked well. There is some rewards as well from getting into the top 400 leaderboard or holding the SIM token.

Soldier as New Addition and War Shares Experiment

Soldier is having the effect of 1 population but having -2 popularity. Soldier also gives 1 tax refund and 0.1 war shares, but increase a crime rate as well.

First I bought 1 soldier, but not see any improvement unless the tax refund and war shares, yet there is no income addition. I also don't pay attention on the crimes rate, so I decide to buy 1 more soldier.

After I bought another soldier, there is 1 SIM on green box.

On the left box, it's the min war profits, which is still 0 with my current shares.

On the middle box, it's the max war profits, and with my current shares, it's generate just 1 SIM

Last 0.2 is my current shares, with just 0.001% of the global shares.

But my question is, there is only min and max profits, I wonder where is the actual profits with current reward pool ?

I try to seek it on the war profits pool, and saw that the current pool is on it's max (125,158 SIM). It's interesting that on the last 2 weeks, it's even more than 3 times ! I guess that the current politics decide to reduce them.

When I see my crime rate, it's stay on 6% after buying the 2nd card. I don't know if it's already 6% before buying the first card, but there is no addition when I got the second card.

Is it Worth to Have Soldier ?

Well, we know that this card can get you a tax refund, and he also give a war shares, which is great, it's like having 1 tax refund + 0.5 war shares (1.5 earning). It also gave us 1 population. But we need to remember that there is negative effect of it, first the -2 population, then the crime rates (I haven't got the details yet), and what not written on the cards is the social support ! (which I realized after buying the 2nd cards and see my tax refund reduced).

It got 1 SIM sosial support for each soldier ! Which is the same as the young citizen 😭

And since there is the multiplied 2.804, I think it's quite ineffective to get soldier as the source to tax refund. Things could change if the multipllied number is reduced, or the war profits pool is improved.

My City and Rank Status

Here is my current city status, with my incomes remain at 25 SIM after I decide to sell some young citizen due to the increase of SIM social cost after getting the 2 soldier 😂

I'm sitting on 328 position in Income leaderboard, 1394 in population leaderboard, and 986 in popularity leaderboard.

Next Step

I will see the opportunity of other cards to gain the tax refund, while monitoring the war shares if it increased again. To reach the top 300, I need to gain 15 more incomes !
