Hello friends! Hamish, my new puppy friend, has been with me a week now and he is adjusting well.
Yesterday he had the initial vet checkup and had two additional vaccines (one a booster, one the shelter didn't give), and he was very brave. They also are testing his blood to make sure he doesn't have any heartworms before I give him any preventative treatments for those.
Yesterday after the vet I took a nap, and he took my shoes. 😂
He still hasn't figured out the Porch Potty yet, I hope he does soon. He's had a couple of accidents where we didn't make it out of the building fast enough; I cleaned up his messes, but I don't want people mad at us! Plus it's just exhausting. But that's puppy life sometimes. We'll figure it out.

He loves his squeaky toys. And yogurt! Which is good, because it's good for his tummy.
