I disagree with the major opinion of your post. Even in the religious sense, this opinion may not fly. If a fetus threatens the life of a mother, the right thing to do is to abort, not wait to see if the mother makes it or not. What if she doesn't make it? Can you bring her back?

As a man, if you are to choose between your wife and your unborn baby she's carrying, it would be very foolish to choose the baby.
