The climate is nothing but changing, and it’s a much more nuanced discussion. Heat islands.. especially cities.

It’s strange when odd plants like avocados and others end up in places like that, but I think it’s naturally what we do. There are plenty of stories from the 1800’s and 1900’s of people bringing something to an area and it flourishes, even becoming invasive. Avocado is a decent plant to bring but it likely feels well out of place in Japan.
