First of all, the paintings are magnificent!

Starting off with Salome, thank you for the background story. I an in fact familiar with the tale of the woman that demanded the head of St. John the Baptist. It has come up more than twice over the years at church.

I didn't know her name was Salome. The painting truly portrays the essence of Salome. Gotta admit though, the head on the plate is a little creepy😅.

I enjoyed admiring every one of them. I love how excited you sound when describing them. One can tell you have a passion for art and history.

Yrs, the head is a bit strange, but what do you expect from a lifeless head, that has been detached from the body? To smile and look good? 😂
