On March 2 2024 I found mushrooms growing on the trunk of a durian tree. At first I was tired of walking to get mushroom plants. First, I went to the rumbia tree, usually I get a lot of herbal medicine in the palm rumbia garden area but there were no results. Then I went to the local people's oil palm plantation but I didn't find any mushrooms. Next I went again to the sentang tree plantation but there were no results either.
In the end, while returning home, I stopped at a rambutan garden belonging to residents of Blang Weu Panjoe village, Lhokseumawe city. I rested for a while in the rambutan hut while drinking and eating a few snacks to fill my empty stomach. After feeling refreshed, I started exploring the rambutan garden. I saw in the corner of the rambutan garden there was a dead durian stem. I also got mushrooms that were dry and empty on the inside of the mushroom.
I got cream and white mushrooms. But the mushrooms are no longer fresh. Maybe because of the drought and also the growing period is over. Maybe this fungus is called Xanthoporia radiata. Xanthoporia radiata is a species of fungus in the genus Xanthoporia in the family Hymenochaetaceae of the Kingdom Fungi.
After I got this mushroom I immediately went home to rest. I felt like everything was gone even though I only got a little from hunting.
