details at the port

Good Morning, I hope your day is going well, today I have an appointment witht he Orhtopedic Dr this morning, lets see what he says about my shoulder, hoping i don't need surgery, but I need soemthing done as its not gettign any better if anything its getting worse

So probably no photowalk today but hopefully soon I will be out and about for walks perhaps a little while before sunrise walks but hopefully so nice days for walks during hte day

Maybe if I do I will head to the port, most times I visit the port is in the early morning, during the blue hour before and staying through sunrise, at those times I am taken more wide shots catching the full boats or the colors inthe sky, but when I visit the port during the day I notice all the cool details on the commercial fishing boats.
and thats what I will share today, I was goign to title this post small details at the port, but then when thinking about it, some of the things if not all of them I will share photos of today are far from small

This firts shot may well be the smallest item of the series,
a pulley and cable on one of the boats, now i dont like seeign rust on the things i won, but I do find it can be cool on some things such as this pulley

and more rust and some contraption on one of the commercial fishing boats, I have no idea what it does, well I can guess its involved in catching some sort of food, but how and what type I have no idea

Medical appointment went fairly well Shoulder joints are OK so no surgery needed yet, but seems i have a frozen shoulder, am on steroids for 10 days and have soem exercises to do each day till I can start physical therapy, review in 6 weeks hopefully good improvement by then or Dr will go to plan B

That's good that they got you into therapy. It has done wonders for my shoulder so far. Still not 100%, but 80% better than it was!

For sure, I have been good with doing the exercises he gave me till I get into PT, todya was a struggle I rolled over onto the shoulder while sleeping and woke up this morning and it was pretty bad, so took it easy onthe exercises this morjing if it settles down will try to do them later

Ah yes, I know that pain well when I sleep on the wrong side at night. I am finally to the point where the pain is mainly in my bicep and not in my shoulder quite so much. I can finally put a jacket on and take it off without pain as well.

thats good progess with the jacket now hope it keeps improving
last night I slept well got 6and a half hours which is good for me, and shoulder is better today well better than yesterday but I will take that LOL

Great shots! How's that shoulder holding up? They may want to inject it if the oral prednisone isn't doing the job. Getting older really as it's down sides doesn't it? Too bad we can't can't live indefinitely in a 25 year old body and continue to grow our minds and interests along the way. In a couple hundred years people will be essentially immortal, might even just be 50 years until we beat aging. Sadly, too late for us!

Yesterday I would have said it was doing a little better, I had a touch more movement before tthe pain kicked in, but last night i rolle donto it and woke up at 3 Am sleeping on it, or should I say it woke me, doing anythign witht he shoulder this morning is worse that it was when I started, but will keep on the prednisone and doing the exercises and hopefully will keep improving

yes next step with be the shot inthe shoulder if needed

I no longer sleep on my sides, only my back because my shoulders but me too much now. Too many years of wear and tear! Sorry to hear it woke you up, I know the feeling all too well...

I do hope it's getting stronger and less painful, I hate shoulder pain!
