Its cold and getting colder in Vermont. Currently 5F with -10F wind chill. Expected to get down to -18F tonight.
At least the ice fisherman have some good ice. I saw a couple of cars out on the ice this week.
I don't think I would want to be out in one of these little ice huts until it warms up a bit.
I didn't get any pictures but since the ice is nice and thick some of the bigger ice huts are starting to show up - small trailers really. Some of them have heaters 🙂 And by the end of the weekend we are forecast to get 8-12" of snow. I know many parts of the country are cold right now. Stay warm and stay safe!
Even with the cold, the winter can be beautiful. A little color out there this morning. We walk every morning - rain or shine, ice or snow - but tomorrow maybe a morning off if the wind chills are as bad as predicted 🥶
