RE: It's Cocktail Day Again

You’re absolutely right, but I’m still learning for now.

I actually have a question that’s directly related to this — what would you recommend I do?

While I was in Bangkok, I visited a modern art museum (though I’m not even completely sure that’s the exact name). I went through all 8 floors and took around 1,000 photos of artworks from artists all over the world.

I’d really like to share all of it. Even if I post only 30 photos at a time, that’s still at least 30 separate posts. But my main problem is different: I understand how to make the first post, but I’m not really sure what to talk about in the following ones.

I can’t properly evaluate the artistic value of the works, and making up deep meanings or analysis doesn’t feel right either. Maybe I should just write a small introduction for each post and then simply share 30–40 photos?

Of course, I’d divide them by style or theme so it wouldn’t feel like a random mix of everything. What do you think about that approach?

Don't over complicate it. So many on Hive think posts have to be academic level and this is why they use all kinds of tools then get caught and blacklisted.

Write about your experience. Write about what you like on that particular painting or whatever it is, how it makes you feel or you can even say you didn't like it, as I do when I don't.

In Photography lovers, writing text is not a requirement, but you still should as it's better to share your experience, not just dump the photos. What makes a post unique is what you don't find elsewhere, let that be your thoughts, your feelings or whatever you went through during the visit or what you felt after leaving.

I hope it makes sense and i really want to see your post. Maybe it's difficult to start, but trust me, it gets easier. No one is an expert in this field, some consider themselves artists, but only a few are, the rest is just ... (anyway, that's my opinion). Just be yourself, enjoy the journey and you'll learn to love it in a month or two.

In the meantime, I'm here whatever question you have. Art is important and only a few of us are posting about art.

Got it!
When there's an art episode, I'll let you know!
Thank you. 🙏

Please do and thank you.
