Amsterdam is on my list of places to visit. I'll look up the Van Gogh museum for sure.

I can recommend you 2 museums in Amsterdam and one in The Hague. The Van Gough museums obviously and the Rijksmuseum, which was partially closed at the time of my visit, but could not visit anyway as you need a whole day, that is how big it is. In The Hague, the Mauritshuise. And a lot of other places 😂 You know how it is, the list never ends and you tailor it based on time and funds available.
Thanks for the info. I may fly back to Zurich in a few days now that temperature seems to be normalising.
My daughter is still there with the grandkids. We still have the accommodation until the 15th August.
