I am a little but in chock today. My car needed its two yearly safety checkup. Normally it's every year but my car is older than 30 so it is stretched a little more. But I got the quote in the email today and that was not fun to read.
I had huge problems with oil leaking on my drive belt and water pump and they found significant rust on the beams of the bumper. Also the break system and exhaust needed a big fix. All together it would be a bill of more that 3000 euro's.
That is going to be a very very big dent in my budget. It made me very sad that this is coming on my path now. I am going to budget very hard the next months. No outdoor dinners ore nights out. And hopefully the bill isn't going to be as much as they have calculated. Because I still need a car and not fixing this means that I need to buy another car. I could buy a car for 3000 euro's but than I cant travel around any more.
And who doesn't want to stay overnight like this? Lastres Colunga in the north of Spain.
This was a nice field at the edge of the town. A very good location to go sleep quietly at night. And you were in town within minutes on the bicycle. So an ideal camper spot.
The golden sunlight was very pretty shining on the green grass. Those clouds are finishing it off

I tried to capture the sun star trough the window of my van. I see that I need to clean my lens next time I do this. The dirt is reflecting the sunshine.
When the sun is behind the clouds, the colors are immediately less interesting. But still, a very nice location.
