Hello photo lovers,
During our visit to Morocco, we also visited the Gardens of the Majorella in Marrakesh.
A beautiful botanical garden that is maintained by a foundation founded by the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Bergé and Madison Cox.
Here are some pictures I took in there!
I wanted to capture the sun rays that came trough the leafs of the plants and trees. I put my diaphragm on the smallest opening so that the sun ray's become these nice stars.
The light that came trough the bamboo was difficult. The wind kept the bamboo moving. And here you see that the lens is dirty. It's an old one.
In this frame the sunlight got a purple glow on it. I don't know where that came from. Maybe it's post process from lightroom.
All around the garden you can find beautiful flowers. If you are in Marrakesh in spring, don't forget to go here. It must be a beautiful sight then.
But what I liked the most here were the plants and all those cacti.
Look at all the bolls at the bottom of this picture. Those are so cool! All those cacti in this picture are very cool.
It's a jungle out there.
And of course all those palm trees all over the garden. That feels very tropical.
There are many different ponds in the garden. In all different kind of shapes and sizes.
And between those ponds, nice pathway's of red tiles and blue walls witch connects them all together. It forms a nice walking rout trough the whole garden.
There even are nice Instagramble hot spots.
