Cuba is a different animal, when it comes to cars.

the scarcity of parts for repairs, and their owners have had to use a lot of creativity to keep them running.

I'm wondering how those cars would pass regular inspection in other countries, outside Cuba. Do you have such inspections over there? Like every year or every two year?
