Garage is a huge problem everywhere and without one, you can't really keep such an oldtimer safe. Must be even more difficult in the NL, I suppose 😬
I bet there are such shows in your country too, but maybe in remote location, where there's enough space for 40 - 50 cars to gather and an few thousands of people.
Now I drive a car from almost new to oldtimer age 😆😆😆 16 years on the clock so far.

Garage
I do have a parking spot in a joint underground garage, below my apartment building. But I am not allowed to build facilities like a bridge or at least a hoist to lift a car engine and other heavy stuff. Since that is what I want to do when owning an oldtimer, maintain the car myself. Perhaps put faster engines in. Rebuild whatever needs to be rebuilt and such like that. Anyways, who knows, some time in the future 😉
The problem with parking lots is that you don't have any storage space for different tools and can't really start any reparation on the car, which is why a garage is better.
But I'm sure if you find a car, you'll find a way to have a garage too :)
