Unfortunately the scent was missing. I don't know why, maybe these flowers are a different type, but I remember when I was a kid, chrysanthemums had a stronger scent. Now you have to go closer to the flowers to feel it. Some don't like it as they say it's the flower of the dead, which is stupid.

I think the same. Just as funeral wreath are made of pine branches and no one is associating Christmas trees with death, why should we associate these flowers with death? Stupid. I have a nice bouquet of chrysanthemums on my desk as we speak 😎
