It's time for another crazy photo practice, now that the Christmas vibe is almost over. I've been taking photos for the last 3 or 4 months, with the intention of posting them in a post, just randomly and I think now is the time to do that.
This photo was taken on the 19th of December, on a frosty morning, when everything was covered in white. I've been waiting for this day and had some nice plans, as in where to take photos and how, but plans are plans and reality is different sometimes.
I went to the place, where I was hoping to get a great variety of colors, but instead of those lovely colors I got a big group of workers with a great variety of heavy tools. Not cool at all, but what can you do. So I took some photos of these leaves, with some spiderweb as well.
Photo taken at the end of October, which seems so far now. For me, there's no autumn without these wild chestnuts. These cute chestnuts are tied to sweet childhood memories and I'm picking up a few each year and making a chestnut man out of them, just like when we were kids. This year I failed my project. These were the chestnuts I picked up, plus a few others, came home, put them on the top of the shoe box and left them there. After a few days they were so dry and wrinkled that I had to throw them away.
This is the first time I'm trying this. I tried to take the same shot but switching focus on the second shot. In the first shot, the focus is on the lake, on the second is on the ledge. Unfortunately I failed as I moved the camera a little, so better luck next time, or better yet, be more careful next time.
This scene would have been lovely by itself, but with the yellow leaves added, makes it more interesting, or it's just in my mind. You tell me. I could not leave without taking a photo.
I love scenes like this. It's like a nice, colorful carpet.
I could call this moments of life. It was raining, there were two ladies holding their umbrella, while talking, but what I saw there was the angle I could take the photo.
This is one of my favorites. I bet 99% of the people are photographing statues standing right in front of them, trying to frame them perfectly, but that's overrated in my opinion and boring too. So here I saw an opportunity to take the shot from the side, especially because the statue has a nice stone back, which looks good in my eyes. Unfortunately the sun was behind me and could not take photos from another angle, but this is something I'd like to explore further in the near future.
Possibly a few of you recognize the scene as I posted a few shots about it before. At the beginning of December I went back and tried to take a shot from a different angle, so the tower would be right on top of the cupola. I'm not sure I succeeded though.
There's no photo post, without a black and white photo, so here's one of the fortress. It's a massive and impressive structure, which always looks good on camera. Or just in my eyes. Who knows.
Then I met Mr. Snowman, who was standing on the bench, holding an umbrella and had with him three gift boxes too. This is the bench on which Mr. and Mrs. Pumpkin were sitting not long ago, with those lovely autumn decorations. They left as autumn is over and Mr. Snowman took their place.
Look how cute he is.
Then there was this bench, covered with frost and an unknown artist has drawn a heart on the bench. It wasn't me, I sweat, but it looks great!
Last, but not least, I found this pod, which looked interesting. I've been seeing these pods but have never known what they are, till that day.
After taking that shot, I opened the pod to see what's inside and there were the seeds. I was thinking of collecting a few, but these were tall bushes, so what would I do with the seeds.
This is my crazy photo selection for the day. I hope I can be back with a totally different one, if things go well.
Let me know which one is your favorite.
