Walking Between Giants.
Autumn has arrived and it's a good idea to walk in areas where there are many trees, it's my favorite season actually, the city is dyed in these beautiful tones, leaves on the ground, another aesthetic, other urban landscapes. I think that Buenos Aires is beautiful in each of its seasons and you can get a different vision in each of them, create compositions and take advantage of the weather conditions along with the city environment.
These last two days have been a lot of rain and I have missed it. My work day started yesterday and I was so tired that I slept more than 12 hours, I didn't sleep almost at all on holidays or mini vacations.
But not everything can be bad, I have back a beautiful lens that I love for street photography and yesterday before my extended hours of sleep I took some shots when it stopped raining.

Here the pink house, architecture in harmony with nature, a different perspective, a shot from the ground with the 85mm lens makes it look more interesting, definitely... Besides that cloudy sky, people and some dead leaves 🍂

Front façade of the pink house, from the Plaza de Mayo. It's a very busy area, luckily and due to the rain and the time there were not so many people.

I said I titled this post this way because of the giant historical buildings in the area, the neighborhood is called San Nicolás by the way. I have seen many old photos of this sector and walking here is amazing, what you feel, its atmosphere, while you are thinking that you are walking through history. I think you might like these photos @erikah 🧡
Look at this shot, a person walking and in the background the majestic metropolitan cathedral.

A person ready to cross the avenue, a puddle of water on the floor, leaves and more classic buildings in the background. You can see a column of the cathedral, in the middle one of the Bencich buildings and on the left the La Inmobiliaria building.

Again the metropolitan cathedral in the background, people walking towards the Plaza de Mayo and in the background one of the tourist buses, while we also appreciate in the following photo the beautiful French academicism... The building of the Argentine Uruguayan bank in the background, some people walking straight ahead.
I still think that this lens is wonderful for street photography and with these post-rain scenarios even better (for me)...
Let me know what you think about it.
