this sooo reminds me of local festivals they do here, maybe cultures influenced by each other? we do often have lego but also wooden old games, places for kids, benches to eat... it's like looking at where i go usually

Those countries that have medieval history, have this tradition. I know there are a bunch of medieval festivals in cities, in piccoli borghi, fairs with old society games.

Yes, most of medieval cities have medieval festivals. I have taken part in a good few and there are always dances, fights, last year we even had real cannon shots. Lucky me, I was right next to the canon and was told what to do, I knew the shot was coming. Otherwise I think I'd have 💩 my pants as it was reaaaallly loud 😆
Real cannon shots?? That's new to me! I can't imagine how it is 🤣 I would too if I didn't know lol
