RE: At The Christmas Market

in Photography Lovers4 months ago

I think this is the problem of all Christmas markets, the price. There are beautiful things, endless variety but the prices make you run away!

I love the wooden things for example, the mugs, all those little things are beautiful, but it seems that at Christmas they cost more.

I liked the little boy dressed for Christmas which made all the difference.🤗

Unfortunately, price reflects not just the price of the products, but the additional costs too and you're paying more for the place and not just for the products.

It would be interesting to know how much profit they are able to make, but you can't just ask them directly as that's private.

There were some lovely things but when you think you're paying 2x, 3x what the product costs ... you think twice, if you want to buy or not. 🤗

It is true that they are handmade things and that is expensive, it is real and valid but it is true that the place makes things more expensive. You should think about whether it is really worth it.

Knowing these vendors are present at most of the fairs, you can make a smarter decision by buying at a different fair, or contacting them at home and buy there. They are open to suggestions, good solutions. I spoke to a few and told me they can even deliver orders. So you need to be smart.

Surely in other fairs... the products are cheaper, wait and be patient!

Exactly! 😉
