RE: Back To Another Century

I have had paintings with frames of that style, several frames in fact, some were at my grandmother's house, others at my grandmother's sister's house, and I loved them. The painting always harmonised with the frame, and as you mention, that looks very good.

In fact, I have a painting in my living room that is a reproduction of an old painting. Here it is among my own paintings.

The one I like best is the fisherman with that characteristic tranquillity and the good use of light and shadow. I love it!

Old people and homes where time is standing still, tend to have this type of paintings.

Looks like the fisherman is the winner today, among those who have a favorite or liked the paintings. It is a good one.

I think it conveys serenity, and that is very pleasant, it really is.
