In this world you will find different kind of people who believe in different cultures, traditions and religions.
Every person has a different mindset. Some people give more importance to their culture, some are nationalists while others are religious and enjoy taking part in religious activities.
I believe that everyone should respect each other's religion culture and traditions. As much as possible we should avoid saying or doing anything that may offend another person's faith.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to take photographs of some religious objects at the Fatimiyah Center. It is an institution where children receive religious education. They are also introduced to different educational courses.
Not only religious studies but worldly education is also provided there. Various seminars conventions and educational programs are organized. Besides education the center also arranges sports entertainment and other activities for children.
Yesterday I had Canon DS271 camera with me so I decided to capture some photographs of these religious objects and share them with you. I wanted to show how people in my community value and respect these items.
One thing that is common in almost every religion is the use of items like perfume lights rings and other symbolic objects. Whether someone is Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Jewish or follows any other religion people generally appreciate pleasant fragrances.

Similarly many religious places give great importance to lighting and decoration. In Islam as well many people place value on things such as perfume decorative lights, microphones rings and other religious objects that are used during gatherings and ceremonies.
In the first photograph you can see a collection of religious items. These include rings a ribbon with the name of a respected religious personality, a mohr made from the soil of Karbala, a tasbeeh also made from Karbala soil, pictures of religious personalities, lights decorative lighting, clay items and other religious objects.
You can also see a microphone which is an important part of religious gatherings which is common in all. There are Arabic names displayed in frames along with rings and other items that are commonly associated with religious activities.
You may also notice a man with long hair in one of the photos. He is my friend Ghulam Hussain and he was preparing fragrance for the main hall.
The device, he is using is actually a humidifier which is normally used to add moisture to the air. However they came up with a nice idea by mixing a bottle of attar (perfume) into the water.
As the mist comes out of the humidifier it spreads a pleasant fragrance throughout the center creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
These are some of the religious objects that I photographed during my visit.
