My little dress for returning from trips to the river and the beach [Esp-Eng]

On my last trip, I learned something that simplified my life a lot, something I had never considered before. Because yes, one is constantly learning more and more to simplify in order to consciously enjoy what surrounds us. Usually, for trips to the river or the beach or any kind of outing, I always wear long jumpsuits or loose pants, of course the most comfortable clothes I can find.

But after a trip to the river with the family, while we were trying to change out of our wet clothes and put on the clothes we would wear on the way back, my mother-in-law saw me struggling a bit because our skin was damp and clothes seem to be the enemy of damp skin. as it's not so easy to put them on. So she told me that over the years she had learned something that had helped her avoid this discomfort when getting dressed, and that was to always have a loose-fitting dress at home that you can simply put on over your clothes and then take off the wet ones underneath.

In some tourist spots in my country, especially the very natural ones, there are no changing rooms, so this idea seemed like a light bulb moment for me. I don't usually wear dresses for outings like these. In fact, the idea of a changing room was strange to me when it came to outings, because in my opinion, a loose-fitting jumpsuit was always more comfortable, and although that's true, they're not suitable for all occasions. I usually struggle a lot when getting dressed after getting out of the water, but with this dress, I noticed a big difference.

The day after this outing with my family, we had an outing with friends to a different river, and my mother-in-law lovingly gave me a little dress so that I could return from the river comfortably and without struggling to change my wet clothes. The experience was as if my brain had expanded to a new idea from which I could never return, because now, for me, the best thing in life is to wear a dress to make life easier and more comfortable after a trip.

I find it crazy that when you think you have several tips for being comfortable and simplifying your life in some way, a new and much better one always comes along. Now this dress that my mother-in-law gave me will be one of the first things I'll put in my backpack the next time I take a trip to the beach, the river, or the pool, because it's a dress that's very easy to put on and, in my opinion, it's pretty and can be worn with sandals or sneakers, depending on the place.

It has a different cut, with two slits on each side, which makes it quite loose, gives you greater mobility, and makes it easier to take off your clothes or even jump if you need to. The thing is that this dress, which is also second-hand, became a wonderful gift that, although not super expensive, is very valuable because of how useful and practical it is, plus it comes with a lesson that completely changed my visits to the river or any place where there is water.

So now my style also includes a special dress for outings where I need to change clothes, and although it's in colors I don't usually wear, I still like it a lot and it adds a different touch to my style. For me, it's always a happy moment to learn something that helps simplify my life, so I not only like this dress, but it also makes me very happy because it allows me to avoid discomfort and enjoy valuable moments more.
