RE: The reconstruction of a custom

Hey! This resonated with me, as healthy diet is something I'm passionate about. I found Max Lugavere's book Genius Foods to be a great help, as the foods recommended in there are not only great from a health perspective (particularly on brain health, but other areas too), but also quite low in carbs, fresh, and all those good things we look for in constructing a diet. So I'd recommend checking that out, and also wanted to share with you this quote from him, saying

"The best diet for you is the one you have the highest chances of actually keeping."

Obviously not to say you should eat junk food if that's easiest, but also not to try to force yourself into the rigidity of a specific existing diet (keto, paleo, etc.) - if that's difficult for you to keep, you will eventually break it and often bounce back into a worse diet. So the trick is to find a healthy enough approach that can work long term for you

But it sounds like you're well on the way towards that! Kudos to you! :)

This is a great recommendation, rest assured I will be reading that book. Definitely your comment had a lot of value and I thank you for taking the time to leave it here. The quote although short struck me, because the truth is something else that many times we are taught.

On the other hand I think I need a friend like you who is passionate about these topics hahaha. Again thanks for the recommendation, have an amazingly good day.
