I am not a murderer

I have always thought that we do not need to be tree cutters or forest burners to become enemies of the environment. In general, the great pollution of our planet is attributed to businessmen who drain their dirty water into rivers, and also to tycoons who are capable of destroying beautiful natural spaces to build shopping malls. And it is true, they have a great responsibility for the damage to our planet, but each one of us is also guilty even if we do it on a smaller scale.

There is no measure of guilt in this, whether I pollute a little or a lot, I am still responsible for the environment to suffer. It is ironic that having our planet, which is our beautiful home in the vast universe, we are not conscious of taking care of it. It is so normal for some to fall into arrogance by not taking conscience about it. Being the earth the only habitable planet for human beings, many have the luxury of destroying it as if they had a property to go to in the universe when there is no remedy.

It is sad to see how in the streets there is so much garbage, it costs nothing to wait to find a trash garbage can to dispose of garbage or just keep it in your purse and then get home and throw it away. I go for a walk, I go shopping and I am incapable of throwing a piece of paper on the street. Even if I come across a lot of garbage, I do not contribute to this despicable practice.

Perhaps there are those who think that a single piece of candy paper will not pollute, but it does, because this thinking is popular, collective and is done by the majority. Just as there are also those of us who think that even a small piece of paper in our wallet will make a difference.

Even if there are entities destined to sweep the streets, that does not give us license to be agents of pollution. It should be understood that they should be sweeping up the dry leaves that fall from the trees, not the waste of unwitting humans.
I know that keeping trash in my purse to throw away at home does not make me an environmental heroine, but I have a clear conscience because as far as it depends on me I am not the antagonist of the planet, but a grateful tenant of the goodness of nature and the planet.

With small acts much can be achieved and it is a matter of thinking that it costs nothing to be in harmony with the environment, rather we are obliged to contribute to its welfare because our life depends on it. If we continue throwing garbage in the streets we will continue being murderers of the purity that remains of the environment. It is time to become aware and value what we have, I know that with this publication I will not make the world become aware but I will continue with my good habits of not throwing garbage in the street, no matter if the majority of people do it, I am different and I will not become indolent in this aspect because it is about my environment, my home and above all my conscience.

Most often, we forget the importance of a healthy environment and that is a culture we are fast discarding. Litters of papers are found in our streets and though some of us are not guilty of the street pollutants, the attitude of such practice in our immediate environment or where people do not see us does not make us a lesser sinner in polluting our environment.

Thank you for this beautiful exposition

That's right, we must have a conscience in a world that is losing its values. It is sad that it is this way but the good thing is not to stop being ourselves despite the indolence of many in the face of the damage to the environment.

Thank you very much for reading me 😃
