Our bee population has been low this year for some reason. I think they should be using weed killer that doesn't kill the bees if you have to use it. I only use it on small weed that haven't even gotten close to flowering. I like the bees pollenating my tomatoes and pepper plants, bees are a good thing!
March 4th might be a great day for World Hive Day!
I would ban all chemical compounds that can kill bees which are used on places that bees would naturally land on.
Last year we had not as many bees showing up as normal.
Although last weekend I saw these Hives and bees in a castle grounds...
There were loads of them flying around so I didn't get any closer and disturb them.
That's sad, chemicals that kill such essential insects shouldn't be use, I agree!
