You can already feel Christmas in the Philippines when BER months started. The BER months is actually the months with a BER in it, so from September to December. And when this start, you can expect to see christmas decoration everywhere and you can hear a christmas songs playing in some shops or mall. Amazing right? I can't really remember the last time we put a christmas lights in our home, but yeah, Christmas Light is the only decorations I remember we had during Christmas back then but I also remember getting excited with it too. The flickering and colorful lights of that Christmas Lights is the highlight of it, green, blue, red, yellow and orange it is just so pretty. Just play a Christmas Songs and it will complete everything.
But today, we don't put anything at home anymore. But that's okay, I also find putting and removing it a hassle, a lot of work and time consuming, the excitement I had in it as a kid was gone, I am more excited to get cash and buy gifts for the oldies to be completely honest. Lol. But given the chance and with the right budget, I'll make an effort too to decorate our home. But not now, maybe some other time. To enjoy the BER months, I just listen to some Christmas Songs nalang. When I heard them in some shops, I can't help but to feel it too. And i'll realize how close we are to Christmas Day. 2025 is about to end too. It's like 2025 just go BAAM! It's fast and furious. Lol ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Anyways, i'm actually writing this to share four songs that you can enjoy listening during Christmas season. I actually listen to it even if it's not Christmas, lol. It was when I decided to download all of STRAY KIDS songs that I discovered these four Christmas songs. And I don't want to gatekeep it so I will share it here. 4. WINTER FALLS by STRAY KIDS
Seriously, the way they sing this is kinda sad, and with the tone, it will really make you feel somewhat longing for somethinf. I don't know that's what I felt whenever I listen to it. It has nice melody and the voice, it's soft and really calming but really sad too. Its sad but when they started to rap and the beat change, it's like cheering me or comforting me. So I had nixed emotions listening to it. I usually listen to this when I feel like going into "emo mode" together with their other ballad songs.
3. CHRISTMAS LOVE by STRAY KIDS
Now this, you can really feel the Christmas vibes in here just with the intro. And with everyone's voice, hahhhh, it feels more like it. The whole vibe of this one is more lively and cheerful, warm and really comforting too, a really good Christmas Song right? Ah, are you listening to it now? I love that you can even dance to it if you want to.
2. 24 TO 25 by STRAY KIDS
Now this, my favorite actually, this one has that feels of cute, warm and fluffy. The melody is just sweet! It's really a music to my ears, and Stray Kids voice fit to this genre as they are all still a cute babies here. Ahhh, but they look different now though, they are more on a hotter side now. Lol. And you know, whenever I hear the intro of this song, I can't help but get excited over something I don't know. It just make me feel that way. They have that effect to me and I love it so I listen to it if I feel sad. Every day is Christmas when I listen to this (◍•ᴗ•◍)
1. Christmas EveL
Now, this one is really different from the first three, it's chaotic, funny, weird but surprisingly I F LOVE IT! This is more like for Christmas anti, lol. I am actually addicted to this part: Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad. I can feel the evil coming but Felix, never bad! Y'all should listen to it guys, it's really good, and it's a bop? Better listen to it with this MV as you'll enjoy it more └|∵|┐♪
