Those and similar technologies which for many decades have been hidden in deep-black, special-access programs, will finally be released to the surface population. Probably not all at once, but it's coming fast. The crazy thing is years ago we had a cheep Mr. coffee that lasted for eight years..... Now we're lucky to get a year or so from each machine!!
I feel ya, my friend, it seems that most 'newer' products are designed to stop working quite soon after purchase, with older models often being notably better, and lasting a lot longer. This might be another area where you need a backup! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
