RE: β€œJust Like A Cat On A Hot Tin Roof!”πŸ₯΅ My Actifit Report Card: May 2 2026

Well, you got some nice sunshine, along with a mini heatwave, so winter does appear to finally be releasing its grip, my friend! Your climate there is so much different that back East, where summer temperatures very often got notably over 100 degrees, and with near 100% humidity! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Sort: Β

It can happen here as well unfortunately!πŸ₯΅
One year we had a week of 105Β° temperatures and humidity that you could wring water out of the air!😬πŸ₯΅

It sounds like that's "free water from the air" !INDEED! πŸ€“πŸ˜…πŸ˜†

Lol...... absolutely my friend!!πŸ˜…πŸ˜‡

You just need a tool to "harvest" such water from the air !INDEED. πŸ€“ !LOLZ

so vert true my friend!!πŸ‘πŸ˜…

Absorbing water from the air not only means free water, but also less humidity which means more crisp air !INDEED! 😎 !LOLZ

That sounds very comfortable my friend I would love less humidity!!!!πŸ€—πŸ‘

I know some people who say that the statement "the desert is hot" is a misconception !INDEED. πŸ€” The dry air makes most deserts cool, especially under shades. πŸ€“

!LOLZ

Oh, wow, I had no idea! Well, at least that kind of weather doesn't come around very often! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Hopefully it won’t repeat that again this year I think we had 83Β° yesterday and probably about 53% humidity!πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ€—

It's so funny, 83 degrees with 52% humidity would be a nice day, here while the humidity is often quite high, we don't often get too far into the 80s. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

So it usually never goes into the 90s where you live?
That sounds very comfortable!πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Nope, 90s don't really happen here. Upper 80s is about as high as I've ever seen it, and even that high is rare. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Sounds like wonderful weather my friend!!πŸ‘πŸ˜€
Looks like the clouds are back today.... I'm hoping for sunshine later on this afternoon!!😎

It is, my friend, most of the time! It's a very equitable climate here indeed, that is kind of a mix of cooler tropical, and mild temperate. I feel ya, my friend, we had lots of clouds today too, though at least the sun poked out for a bit! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I saw some posts on mainstream social media of some people who would ("gladly") exchange their "cooler than usual" temperatures with the "heat waves" in certain other countries !INDEED. πŸ€―πŸ˜†

!BEER

Yep, that's a common theme with extremes. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I wonder how much you agree with the statement that it is less inconvenient to wear jackets (or any other thick clothing) because of cold weather than to seek fan/ventilation/airconditioning because of hot weather. πŸ€“

!LOLZ

Well, given that I don't like cold, and I don't wear clothes, I would not agree. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

The statement on my previous comment would be more accurate if people who prefer cold weather or at least don't mind the cold are asked. πŸ€―πŸ˜…
