Today didn’t exactly turn out to be the “Play Date” that Silvertop expected Lol!🤣
“Liz the weather app is saying that the rain is stopping this afternoon at 3 o’clock, we can still hike the boardwalk down at the Ocean!”😅
The closer Liz drove towards town, the more it was raining!🙄
Memorial Day, can often be rainy in the Pacific Northwest. The weather patterns are still changing, so one day you need the A/C, and the next……..🥶

So it was to be…… the die was cast, Liz and Silvertop were to be “Mall Walkers” on this misty, rainy, Memorial Day!☺️
Malls are a dying breed now days! We have a very beautiful Mall, but more and more the individual stores are empty!😮
I am sure rent is sky high…………
Businesses pass this cost on to customers with higher prices……..
With Amazon just a click away, these store owners now days, have a tough time competing!🙄
Liz always stops in one particular store called “Bath & body Works” when we walk this mall during bad storms!😅
“Look at all I found today in this store Silvertop!”🥰
Her bag was full of small bottles….Liz was happy!😍
“Thank goodness the Sun is back tomorrow honey, I wouldn’t want our kids to get the idea Mom and Dad are getting old Lol!🤣😇
Finally back home, I glanced at the digital thermometer on the wall….. 64°F!
The wood stove has been full of kindling and paper ready for a fire, for more than three weeks!
Today was to be the day!
I struck a match to the crumpled paper, and flames quickly filled the wood stove!
In no time, the temperature in the house rose to 70 degrees.
Today let’s remember our fallen soldiers!
The ones that have given all, so that we can sit in our living room, with our loved ones, and enjoy a nice warm evening!
