“Can You Hear Me Now?”😇
“Silvertop, we can go down to the City Park, and take the extra long hike to the Coffee shop!”🥰
That’s all Liz needed to say, soon we were headed to the Lynden City Park in town!
We have visited this Park several times this Winter, but we haven’t hiked the full length of this trail in several years! The last time we did this long hike, it was a hot Summer day, over 90 degrees!
Back then, It was so nice to reach our final destination, and enjoy a couple of frozen mocha Frappuccino‘s on a hot day!😅
Things have changed a bit, in the last two years…………….
Payphones are almost nonexistent, but you can find one here……….
I just couldn’t figure out where you inserted the money to make a phone call at this booth Lol!🤣😇
The beginning of this trail is cool, and shady…………
Following a small creek, Bridge after bridge, will take you to one of Lynden’s premier Sports fields!
Exercise stations are located on the sides of the the trail, for those needing to burn a few extra calories on their hike!
Soon it opens up to a flat field, with basketball courts, soccer fields, and baseball diamonds!
You can even find a small kid’s climbing hill!
Of course Silvertop always being a kid at heart, needed to scale this tiny man made rock!

Finally we reached the “Woods Coffee Shop”!😊
Back in 2018, before we had stable internet, we would bring our laptops to this Coffee Shop, to be able to post to our blockchain……….😇
How things have changed for a couple of Crypto “OG’s” Lol…. Yet things have stayed the same!😊
