Hello everyone π»,
Happy Monday π and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week and the stepping continued unabated.
I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. A sunnyπday as I made my way.
Next came the house chores and then later onto the trending stories from x and you tube.
The day continued to be sunny and stayed that way even as I set out for the sunset π walk.
I walked around the neighbourhood and park before heading back home and calling it a day. Tonight is a bit cloudy but, hopefully tomorrow will be another sunny π day.
Lets now quickly look into some of the trending stories.
In Gaza the mass murder continued as an Israeli airstrike hit a school housing displaced people killing 17πΏ.
Still in Gaza, Hamas have released the only living Israeli/American to red cross who united him with his family. He is now in Israel. I don't know what they will get in exchange. However Global hunger monitor has called for immediate action to avoid humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza as famine sets inπ. The food is getting scarce by the day.
In the other war, Russian airstrikes are still hitiing Ukraine. One person died in a strike near SumyπΏ. Meanwhile Zelensky has said he is ready to meet Putin face to face on Thursday as they try to seek out a solution/ceasefire.
Trump who will be around the area in the middle east has said he might be able to go to Istanbul they he was not sure. I probably think he won't.
Speaking of Trump, he will be landing in Saudi Arabia tomorrow. Then later Qatar and UAE. Mostly business deals as he seeks a trillion $ each from these countries in deals mostly on weaponry and other investments.
Still in the US, a group of 49 white South African Afrikaners have landed in the US under Trump's refugee program. They will be granted refugee status with a path to citizenship as they say their lives were in danger back in south Africa.
Still on the issue of immigration, UK trending as the PM announced a raft of measures aimed at tightening visa rules to reduce the numbers of people coming to the UK. Care homes concerned as no new work visas will be issued for overseas workers yet staff isn't locally availableπ.
This comes after Labour party lost many council seats to Nigel Farage's Reform party who have issues with migration. Political shenanigans indeedπΉ.
That's about it, so see you again tomorrow on a fiery tree π² Tuesday. Until then stay safe, take care and good bye β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
