In the meantime, I continue to take Alma for her physical and speech therapy. Even though it is Easter, the Rehabilitation center worked Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so we went these days so as not to lose the rhythm. As for the long weekend, we will do the exercises at home to continue with the treatment of the neck muscles.
After we finished the therapy session scheduled for today, we continued our route to drop the baby at her grandmother's house and then run some errands in the city center. There we stumbled upon a children's party, in the middle of the street, there was a bouncy castle and music all around, so there were lots of children playing, jumping and having fun.
Afterwards, we started the walk towards the center of Cumaná, a journey of approximately twenty blocks. We did not worry so much about the distance as we did about walking in the shade, since it was midday and the sun was shining brightly.
Once in the center, we found out that there was no electricity service, by then some stores had decided to close and others only half attended due to the impossibility of invoicing. We walked around for a while trying to find out some fabric prices for a project I have with my husband. The search was fruitless because several stores were dark, so we decided to return home and leave this matter pending for Monday.

Después que terminamos la sesión de terapia pautada para hoy, continuamos nuestra ruta para dejar a la bebé en casa de su abuela y luego realizar varias diligencias en el centro de la ciudad. Allí nos tropezamos con una fiesta infantil, en medio de la calle, había un castillo inflable y alrededor música, así que había muchos niños jugando, saltando y divirtiéndose.
Posteriormente, iniciamos la caminata hacia el centro de Cumaná, recorrido de unas veinte cuadras aproximadamente. No nos preocupamos tanto por la distancia sino por realizar el recorrido por la sombra ya que eran horas de mediodía y el sol brillaba con intensidad.
Una vez en el centro, nos encontramos con la novedad de que no había servicio eléctrico, para entonces algunos comercios habían decidido cerrar y otros atender a medias debido a la imposibilidad de facturar. Caminamos un rato tratando de indagar en algunos precios de telas para un proyecto que tengo junto a mi esposo. La búsqueda resultó infructuosa porque varios locales estaban a oscuras, así que decidimos retornar a casa y dejar este asunto pendiente para el lunes.
