Short Story of a patient with an acute stone pain | Short Diary on Tuesday | Alive and Thriving on May 20, 2025 | Actifit report number 1270

in Actifit12 days ago

Hi, there! How are you? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's actifit report number 1270. It's also the Alive and Thriving report on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

I could walk twice on the treadmill on Tuesday. At first, a 15-minute walk before lunch. And, later, another 15-minute walk after 10 pm. This 30-minute walk helped me reach over 14k steps on Tuesday.

At home, I had a second round of morning sleep and an afternoon nap. Lack of sound sleep at night demands extra sleep. Raising an infant is quite challenging, Alhamdulillah!

At work, I consulted 33 patients on Tuesday. Of them, a patient came with acute right flank and lower abdominal pain. He didn't have any urinary problems so far. A urine test result was consistent with ureteric colic. I gave painkiller injections. He was severely distressed with pain. Without waiting for some time (to see the effects of the painkiller), he left my clinic and most likely went to another hospital! Ureteric colic is real bad!!

Okay. That's all for today. I am alive, healthy, and thriving, Alhamdulillah. How about you?

It sounds like you've had quite a busy and challenging time both at home and work.
Raising an infant definitely requires a lot of energy and can disrupt sleep patterns.
I hope things get easier for you soon on both fronts.

I hope that too! It's challenging but brings joy and pleasures too!

Although I have no children of my own, I've helped out with different people's children for years, and I know well how challenging it can be indeed. I'm glad that you're able to get some extra, make-up sleep. Have an excellent Thursday, my friend! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Hmm. it's quite challenging. But, it comes with pleasures as well :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Indeed, I know that well, on both counts. I do regret not starting a family. Now I just focus on the beauty that I can create and the people that I can help. Of course, my friend, you're always very welcome! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

My husband recently found out he has diverticulosis and kidney stones, the stones have not caused him any pain.

Stones within kidneys, usually do not cause pain. When it dislodges and stuck in the ureter, it causes the excruciating pain. I hope that your husband never experience such pain!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you. My cousin has terrible pain from passing kidney stones. I hope, too, that my husband does not experience it.

As I suspected – someone has been adding soil to my garden.
The plot thickens.
