Drained? I wouldn't say that. Tired? I believe that's more of what I am currently feeling. Being on the road for more than 12 hours can do that to one's body. The only rest I got was for a few minutes, and after I finally got to my destination. And you'd think I would have woken up late, but... No! My new morning routine of waking up as early as 6 has made my body so adaptable to the time that I don't even need an alarm to do the work.
Despite the tiredness laced in my muscles, I still woke up that early, and I knew going back to sleep won't work, so I had to start with my morning routine. I unpacked a little before my stomach decided it was time for it to care. I had to attend to it, and the rest of the day went with calls before I finally went for an evening walk. And right now, I am super tired, and I could have gone to sleep, but I wasn't going to let my 10k plus mark go like that.
It has been a long while since I hit the 10k mark. I would have made the activity report yesterday, but due to the trip, I wasn't able to do that as I got to my destination super late. So, today, I decided to do that. Speaking of yesterday. My journey began earlier than planned, and I am thankful I left at that time because of the traffic that came afterward.
Before leaving my previous place, I made sure to cook because I knew it would come in handy. But that was done after the usual morning routine and cleaning. By the time I was done with all that, I was already sweating a little before cooking. After cooking, I packed the meal and took a long refreshing bath before arranging and rearranging the packed travel box and bag back.
I headed out with my luggage for a long walk to the bus stop, and God must have really felt my pain because he sent people to my aid. I had help with my luggage to the bus stop, and that made the journey an easy one for me. And yes! Despite the now very pain in my shoulder blade and other parts of my body, I am thankful and happy for how yesterday ended.
