Unless one has the luxury of a patient model in a studio, reference photos are the best way of getting inspiration for one's portrait paintings. One of the great sites to this end is Pexels where they have hundreds of free to use portrait and posing photos. Bookmark their site, they have tons of other stock photos suitable for the illustration of your next Hive post, too...
